"The E.R. facilitates the distribution of nutritious hot meals to those unable to prepare and or provide them for themselves. The meals are prepared in commercial kitchens or local restaurants, then delivered by volunteers to the hands of the elderly and disabled, unhoused individuals in curbside communities, and homeless encampments. E.R. serves residents throughout the City of Oakland and other surrounding cities in Alameda county. In addition, E.R. also facilitates a weekly distribution of fresh produce to families in need."
